Theoretical Prospectus

Jaded Paths is a fantasy-horror TTRPG setting for 5e, set in an alternate Earth on the eve of World War I. In this world, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Van Helsing, Rasputin, Mata Hari, and other legendary figures – real and fictional – find their stories entangled, crossing paths in ways history never recorded. Players take on the roles of extraordinary individuals navigating a world teetering on the brink of chaos, facing off against secret societies, cryptids, and occult horrors. While mystery and conspiracy shape the world’s narrative, Jaded Paths is a game of pulpy action, cinematic heroics, steampunk tech, and gallows humor.

Inspired by Shadow Hearts, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Sherlock Holmes (2009 film), and The Difference Engine, Jaded Paths invites you to uncover the truth behind the world's descent into madness.
